Wei
Definition:
A fraction of ETH. A very small fraction. So small that 1 ETH = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 wei (10 to the power of 18). Impress your friends (?) by telling them it is named after Wei Dai, a cryptography proponent known for promoting the use of strong cryptography and privacy technologies.
Degen Chat
“Did you know that there are 1 billion billion wei in an ETH and wei is named after… hello? hello? Seems that she got disconnected, again. Happens a lot.”
