Definition:

When someone in Web3 is trying really really hard to get the attention of someone, they are a simp and are simping. It could be an NFT artist trying to attract the attention of a whale investor. Or it could be a NFT degen stumbling on a hot female in the space. The behaviour can be cute or pathetic. Generally the latter.
